There is evidence of some mild linewear throughout the character, namely in the Grinch's left cheek, the brim of his hat, the hem of his coat, his eyebrows, and in his rear. There is evidence of some mild linewear in the candy canes as well.

There are four small staples, two along the upper edge and two along the lower edge, all of which could be easily matted out. Along the lower edge, there is a small 1/2 inch hairline tear under the leftmost staple, as well as a 1.50" inch hairline tear under the rightmost staple, with a very small 0.25" section of cel loss at its terminus, which could all be easily matted out. There is a tiny spot of paint loss in the chest of the cat facing the viewer, as well as some very slight linewear in his right eye. There is evidence of some slight linewear in the cats' whiskers. There is a smal portion of cel loss in the upper right corner, as well as evidence of some wear and creasing in each corner respectively, which could be easily matted out.
