MGM Studios
The mat measures 14" x 16" while the aperture measures 9" x 11.5"
As is common with MGM set-ups from the 1950s in these mats, the set-ups primarily were put together with an eye on presentation rather than accuracy. It appears that the Seal and Jerry are in the film while the production background, Tom, and the ball are from an MGM film of that era.
As visible in the image, there are a few small areas of paint loss in Tom's body, mostly in his shoulder, knee, and foot. There is evidence of paint mottling in the ball, and slight lines of paint lifting in Tom's torso. The original auction sticker is affixed to the upper left corner of the mat.
