Thank you very much for visiting our site, and your interest in our company. We'd just like to tell you a little bit about ourselves so that you may have a better idea about us and our attitudes towards our customers.
If you have had a positive experience with our company, or from reading my articles, please let me know. I would appreciate it very much.
|Years in business||We have been serving animation collectors since January 1993.|
|Goal of company||
To promote educated purchases of animation art, and to offer this art at reasonable prices. We focus upon creating long-term relationships with our clients, and therefore try to find out what our collectors collecting goals are before we recommend art to them.
We are collectors ourselves, and therefore understand the love and commitment our clients have for their collections.
You may notice that we have a very large inventory, particularly with regards to vintage Disney and Simpsons animation art. We have over 5000 pieces in inventory at any one time.
We like to maintain a very large inventory (rather than pre-selling art) due to several factors:
1) We love owning and appreciating animation art, so if we don't sell a piece immediately, we get to enjoy it for a while!
2) Our collectors love the fact that we actually own and have in our possession the art and thus have a wonderful range of art to show them. If we have the piece available in inventory, it can be theirs in a matter of days.
You won't find a packet of photocopies of art that may or may not be available here!
3) If we believe in the art enough to put our own money into owning a piece, then clients can feel confident that we believe in it for their collections.
I have been collecting animation art for 12 years, and have run the Wonderful World of Animation for over ten years.
I have been fortunate enough to have interviewed by CNNfn, Forbes, Personal F/X collectables show, Cigar Aficianado , Disney TV, Collector's Lot (UK television), BBC 5 Radio, and Radio Shropshire (UK radio).
I also regularly lend animation art to London's Museum of the Moving Image for the past 5 years. The museum has had many special exhibitions of my art including vintage Disney drawings, Winnie the Pooh art and the Simpsons.
I am also the monthly animation art columnist for a UK collectables magazine, Collectables as well having written for an animation magazine called Animated Life, Collectors Showcaes, and Memorabilia. To my knowledge, I am the only person currently writing a regular column on the ins and outs of collecting animation art in the world.
We are an authorized gallery for the Walt Disney Company, Clampett Studio Collections (Warner Bros), The Simpsons (and other Fox art), MTV/Nickleodeon, Universal, Animated Animations, Chuck Jones art (Linda Jones Enterprises), Charles Fazzino, Tom Everhart, Cartoon Network, and Collectors Editions .
To be an authorized gallery means that a gallery is an approved distributer for the newer art that is released directly by the studio. The status of being an approved gallery is not relevant to any studio in terms of vintage animation art.
We are proud to include a few testimonals from some of our clients (full names are not given to respect our clients' privacy):
