Master set-up of Michael Jackson and Rosie the Snake This animated series ran for two years on Saturday mornings in 1971 and 1972 on ABC and was a Motown Production. This is an amazing piece of both rock and roll and animation history with Michael seemingly enjoying himself on a roller coaster with his faithful friend. This piece is not eligible for our holiday promotion. The cels are affixed to the background with pieces of tape along the upper edge and the right and left edges, all of which can be easily matted out. The peg holes (along the top of the cels) show signs of tearing. There are staple holes in each corner, all of which is easily matted out as well. Master set-up of Michael Jackson and Rosie the Snake This animated series ran for two years on Saturday mornings in 1971 and 1972 on ABC and was a Motown Production. Michael in Wonderland is a take-off of Alice in Wonderland, and here we have Michael and Rosie falling into Wonderland. This piece is not eligible for our holiday promotion. The cel is affixed by tape to the background. The circular patterns in the background are actually cut out and affixed to the darker vertical background. Production cel of The Jackson Five This animated series ran for two years on Saturday mornings in 1971 and 1972 on ABC and was a Motown Production. This is an amazing piece of both rock and roll and animation history with all 5 members of the Jackson Five included here in this cel set-up. This scene was used in several of the cartoons, as the brothers would always have conversations in their car. From left to right sit Marlon and Jackie in back, while Michael, Jermaine, and Tito sit in front. This piece is not eligible for our holiday promotion. The main image of the car is actually a trimmed laser print affixed to the top cel. There are slight tiny specks of paint loss in the characters which are visible only upon close examination.
