Production cel of a Who This Who is the ultimate in multitaskers. In order to save their civilization from absolute destruction all of the Whos needed to make noise, but this Who also had dishes to do so she just snapped her toes. Coming from the pivotal moment in the story where the Whos are headed for a big, boiling bowl of Beezle-nut Stew this production cel has a great significance to the film. This section was looped so it had very few original cels making this one all the more special. Signed by: Chuck Jones The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") US$ 700 (unframed). CJCBZS16 |

Master set-up of Dr. Hoovey Key master set-up, production cel with matching background accompanied by keyed, timed drawing with color model indications. Depicts seminal moment in the film when Dr. Whovy is desperate to make enough noise so that everyone can hear the Whos and know that they exist. He find little JoJo and it’s his ‘Yopp’ that finally breaks through their world’s atmosphere and allows Horton’s jungle mates to hear them and realize that ‘a person’s a person, no matter how small.’ This character looks quite a bit like Chuck Jones with the hair and the glasses. Chuck Jones himself voiced the character of Dr. Hoovey as well as Horton. The frame measures 21" x 35". Price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase, but it will not change the price of the piece.
