Dr Seuss Fine Art
Indistinct Cat with Cigar
Edition Size: 350 Lithograph on canvas The frame measures 47" x 27" while the aperture measures 43" x 23.25".
This is edition # 138/350.
Visible only upon extremely close examination are some very slight linear impressions running horizontally in the canvas; one 1.25" in length across the character's nose and one 3" in length and 1.5" above the lower frame. This is typical of early Seuss pieces and possibly caused by the mounting process. There are three spots in the extreme right edge next to the frame of 0.125" x 0.125" where it appears the ink has worn off; this is only visible upon close examination. US$ 8500 (framed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$1700 a month.
