the Big Bad Wolf animation Storyboard
  Disney Studios (c. 1930s)
Storyboard of the Big Bad Wolf
The text reads: Wolf forgets himself, blows nose in hanky. Loud "Bwoop" Foghorn sound. Catches himself - taps nose in lady-like fashion.

The paper has a tinge of color change around the edges. As visible in the web image, there is darker discoloration along the extreme lower edge and paper loss to the upper left corner. There are small tears; one 0.125" long to the upper right corner and 1.5" to the left of this corner is a tear 0.25" long. There is evidence of a pin hole at the upper right corner, as pinning up storyboards for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work. These can all be easily matted out.
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the character size is 4.5" h x 6.5" w.

Production drawing of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
Long Billed Donald deploys and umbrella to deflect the bullets fired by Pete while Officer Mickey steers the motorcycle and side car. The action lines drawn streaming from the back of the motorcycle in this layout drawing are excellent examples of early Disney Animation.

Mickey Mouse animation Production Drawing
  Orphans Benefit (1934)
Production drawing of Mickey Mouse
Conductor Mickey taps his baton on his music stand to ready his orchestra for their performance of “William Tell Overture” but he is thwarted by the antics of Donald Duck, a rascally bee, and an angry tornado. This beautiful drawing is full of life and detail. You can almost hear the tap tap tap of the baton.

As seen in the image, there is a tonality difference around the character most likely from a previous matting. The contrast appears to be much harsher on the digital image than it is on the actual piece. There are two brownish spots in and below the character’s shoe. Also visible in the image is a crease that runs horizontally across the character. There is a darker discoloration along the extreme upper edge with tape which can be easily matted out. There is evidence of pin holes 1.0" to the left of the lower right corners which can be easily matted out. As pinning up work for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work.
The character size is 4" h x 5" w.
 (unframed).
