Mickey Mouse animation Production Drawing
  Steamboat Willie (1928)
Production drawing of Mickey Mouse
This drawing of Mickey using the bull as a xylophone is a wonderful example of the early process of animation. Mickey’s bottom half repeats the same motion, but his upper body has much more elaborate movement so it was animated separately.
There is a slight tinge of color change along the outer edges which can be easily matted out. As is visible in the web image, there are two light 4.0" and 4.25" creases across the lower left corner which can be easily matted out.
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the character size is 6.25" h x 2" w.
 (unframed).

Mickey Mouse animation Production Drawing
  Plane Crazy (1928)
Production drawing of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
This wonderful rare drawing illustrates Mickey, his sweetheart Minnie, and the plane from what some consider to be the "first" Mickey Mouse cartoon ever made. Production art from this short calls to mind a significant change taking place in the history of animation as behind a locked door, Ub Iwerks did the animation secretly while pretending to work on the last of the Oswald cartoons.
Slightly more than normal handling with some wrinkling of the paper evident. There are some tiny tears and slight discoloration around the edges of the paper which is easily matted out.

The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13")
 (unframed).

  Babes In The Woods (1932)
Layout drawing
This incredibly detailed drawing from Babes in the Wood is extra special because it is the inspiration for both the opening and the closing scenes. The page is filled with notes from the animators and even suggestions of the birds that fly on and off camera.
As visible in the web image, the paper has a tinge of color change due to age. The piece exhibits slightly more than normal handling on the left side. There is a small tear of 0.25" to the lower left corner and 3.0" above this corner is a small 0.125" long tear to the left edge which can be easily matted out. Halfway across and along the upper edge are two tears of 0.375" long and 0.25" x 0.125" which can be easily matted out.
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13")
 (unframed).
