Production drawing of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse This wonderful rare drawing illustrates Mickey, his sweetheart Minnie, and the plane from what some consider to be the "first" Mickey Mouse cartoon ever made. Production art from this short calls to mind a significant change taking place in the history of animation as behind a locked door, Ub Iwerks did the animation secretly while pretending to work on the last of the Oswald cartoons. Slightly more than normal handling with some wrinkling of the paper evident. There are some tiny tears and slight discoloration around the edges of the paper which is easily matted out.
