Layout drawing of Mickey Mouse Mickey sits in the flotsam and jetsam of a beach picnic in this note filled layout drawing. Text at the upper left corner reads " Property of Cy Young U.M.- 29" There is a vertical crease in the center of the drawing and 0.75" down the crease is a tear of 0.25". The paper has a tinge of color change around the outer edges which can be easily matted out. There is evidence of slight handling throughout as well as what appears to be a paper clip mark on the upper left edge toward the corner. Layout drawing This incredibly detailed drawing from Babes in the Wood is extra special because it is the inspiration for both the opening and the closing scenes. The page is filled with notes from the animators and even suggestions of the birds that fly on and off camera. As visible in the web image, the paper has a tinge of color change due to age. The piece exhibits slightly more than normal handling on the left side. There is a small tear of 0.25" to the lower left corner and 3.0" above this corner is a small 0.125" long tear to the left edge which can be easily matted out. Halfway across and along the upper edge are two tears of 0.375" long and 0.25" x 0.125" which can be easily matted out. The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") (unframed). WDDCS322 |
