Make Mine Music
(1946)
Production drawing of Willie the Whale This is a beautiful pose of this Metropolitan Whale, singing his heart out and dressed to the Nines. He is seen here in full character from his fins and flippers to his little hat, his eye is open and he is singing the roof down. This film is a classic story of dreams, and if you were to have one drawing from it, this would be it as a number of these drawings have him in such odd poses that don't translate back to the page with pencil so nearly well as this one does. What a Find!! There is evidence of slight handling. There is also evidence of slight light exposure where the piece may have been matted, which is visible in the image. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") US$ 765 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$153 a month. WDDCS36 |
