Production drawing of a pterodactyl This drawing portrays four different key poses of a pterodactyl in flight from Fantasia; awe-inspiring! The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 10" h x 12" w. US$ 400 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$80 a month. WDDMB314 |

Production drawing of a pterodactyl This piece portrays the flying saurian in three drawings (likely extremes and/or breakdowns). Production notes can be seen along the lower wing of the creature. This is an excellent piece that shows the spacing (or perhaps the timing) of an animated pterodactyl from Fantasia. There is some darkening of the edges due to aging which can be matted out for display if desired. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 12" h x 8" w. US$ 375 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$75 a month. WDDMB315 |

Layout drawing of Pterodactyls Great color and notations, this piece plans out the flight paths of the flying saurians circling over the water. This is most likely from the wide shot (around 54 minutes and 30 seconds into the film) when these flying saurians are hovering above the lake in search of prey from the "Rite of Spring" section of the film. Some pencil smudging on the middle and lower right-hand side of the paper well away from the image. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 3" h x 15" w. US$ 250 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$50 a month. WDDMB323 |

Layout drawing This appears to be the layout of the scene that appears during the middle of the "Rite of Spring" sequence. The lower left hand side, the shoreline, is where the fish that evolved into the turtle-like creature crawls onto the land, and the spire above the composition is the rookery from where the pterodactyls emerge and then soar through the sky and around the rocky mass toward the background. This piece has been rendered in blue and red pencils and most likely was used as an effects drawing. There is some minor pencil smudging and part of the lower edge has been darkening due to age (which can be matted out for display if desired). The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 10.5" h x 14" w. US$ 395 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$79 a month. WDDMB326 |

Layout drawing of Ben Ali Gator and Hyacinth Hippo A beautiful set of two drawings from this fantastic scene. The gator is exquisitely rendered, his jaws nearly smacking with pure excitement. As seen in the image, there is evidence of discoloration and slight waviness in the paper, although the light is not as harsh as it appears. The drawing of the hippo has a tear down the middle that measures about 4". The drawing of Ali Gator also has a tear on the right side but removed from the central figure, easily matted out, and measuring 1.5". The condition of the artwork was considered when pricing. The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the character size is 5.5" h x 7" w. US$ 975 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$195 a month. WDDMB9 |

Production drawing of a dinosaur The paper has had a tinge of color change around the outer edges which can be easily matted out. As visible in the image, there is a crease running vertically down the middle and some paper loss 2" x 1" on the right edge and 1" across the lower right corner. A 1" long tear extends from the paper loss at the right edge but is well away from image. There is evidence of a pinhole midway across and 1.75” from the upper edge, the left corners exhibit signs of wear, and the piece shows slightly more than normal handling on the left side, this is all fairly common for studio-handled production material. There are a few small tears 0.25" - 0.5" long along the lower edge and the upper right corner which can be easily matted out. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 8.5" h x 11" w. US$ 375 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$75 a month. WDDCS280 |

Layout drawing This fantastically rare multi-plane drawing has been created with two layers. The top drawing with depicts the grand entrance sign, "Model Home Open--Open For Destruction", has been trimmed to allow the background drawing to show through. Multi-plane drawings are rare and perfect for collectors interested in both this film and the creation of animation. Notice on the third image that "Ma" and "Pa" have been tied up and hidden behind the columns! As visible in the image, in the overlay drawing, the middle portion has been cut away, though the peg holes are intact. There is evidence of slight discoloration and smudging in the outer edges of the image as well as a vertical fold in the center of both drawings. Each drawing exhibits signs of handling as well as a few pin holes in the upper corners as well as along the top edge and a pin hole each in the lower extreme corners. In the lower drawing, there is evidence of adhesive as visible in the image. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") (unframed). WDDSYB10 |

Storyboard of Pinocchio and Lampwick Lampwick eggs Pinocchio with a billiard cue to smoke, and judging by the sickly look on his face, poor Pinocchio is not enjoying this one bit! There are production notes on this page, such as Lampwick's line typed on top ("Come on. Come on. Be a man.") The viewing frame measures 6"H by 8"W, and this piece overall measures 10"H by 12"W. There are signs of handling along the edges, such as graphite smears and minute creases. There are also aged tape residue (the brown rectangles) on the top corners of the page. There are also dark spots on the upper right hand corner (likely due to moisture exposure). Most of these minor imperfections are far removed from the central image field and can be matted out for display if desired. The character size is 6" h x 8" w. (unframed). WDASYB12 |
