Fantasia
(1940)
Layout drawing of --- This appears to be the layout of the scene that appears during the middle of the "Rite of Spring" sequence. The lower left hand side, the shoreline, is where the fish that evolved into the turtle-like creature crawls onto the land, and the spire above the composition is the rookery from where the pterodactyls emerge and then soar through the sky and around the rocky mass toward the background. This piece has been rendered in blue and red pencils and most likely was used as an effects drawing. There is some minor pencil smudging and part of the lower edge has been darkening due to age (which can be matted out for display if desired). The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 10.5" h x 14" w. US$ 395 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$79 a month. WDDMB326 |

Fantasia
(1940)
Production drawing of Pterodactyls This drawing is most likely from the wide shot (around 54 minutes and 30 seconds into the film) when these flying saurians are hovering above the lake in search of prey from the "Rite of Spring" section of the film. This piece has production notes on the lower left hand corner of the paper (which looks like tallies and tick marks with numbers that look very cryptic to the casual viewer but most likely made much more sense to the animators of Fantasia at the time!) There is a diagonal fold in the lower left- hand corner and the upper right-hand corner. These can be matted out for display if desired. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 2.5" h x 13" w. US$ 295 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$59 a month. WDDMB324 |

Storyboard of the Pegasus family This piece hails from the "Pastoral Symphony" section of the film. A beautiful storyboard the Mother Pegasus, her babies and some friendly cupids as they wait for the soft rain to stop so that they can go play. The rainbow in the piece really adds to the tranquil mood. The piece measures 6"H by 8"W. There is some darkening of the piece due to age, but otherwise this piece is in excellent condition. The character size is 2" h x 3.5" w. US$ 1250 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$250 a month. WDA865 |

Production drawing of some pterodactyls This exquisite red-and-blue pencil drawing depicts the spacing and path of an animated pterodactyl in flight. One can see along the lower wings some notes which probably denotes the extremes and/or the breakdowns designated by the animators for this flight sequence. It has excellent line work and detail as well! There is a very slight darkening of the edges due to age which can be easily matted out for display. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 12" h x 12.5" w. US$ 750 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$150 a month. WDDMB318 |

Storyboard of Pinocchio and Lampwick Lampwick eggs Pinocchio with a billiard cue to smoke, and judging by the sickly look on his face, poor Pinocchio is not enjoying this one bit! There are production notes on this page, such as Lampwick's line typed on top ("Come on. Come on. Be a man.") The viewing frame measures 6"H by 8"W, and this piece overall measures 10"H by 12"W. There are signs of handling along the edges, such as graphite smears and minute creases. There are also aged tape residue (the brown rectangles) on the top corners of the page. There are also dark spots on the upper right hand corner (likely due to moisture exposure). Most of these minor imperfections are far removed from the central image field and can be matted out for display if desired. The character size is 6" h x 8" w. US$ 3700 (unframed). WDASYB12 |
