A great drawing that shows the Dwarfs dancing around in celebration. Notice the hats flying in the air! The paper at the edges has more than normal discoloration. The edges also have some small tears and there are around 8 small areas of paper missing on the left hand side. They appear to have been from a long time ago and are not expanding.

the Evil Queen from Snow White animation Production Drawing
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Production drawing of the Evil Queen from Snow White
The Evil Queen was flawlessly animated by Art Babbitt before her transformation into the Wicked Witch. In this drawing, we see her shrill personality show through via her thin sharply pointed eyebrows and her black eyes, half closed and looking on with disdain. The notes in the piece call attention to her golden pendant which is one of the most opulent parts of her aristocratic guise. Drawing # 1010 and the initials BJ are seen in the lower right corner. The drawing is in overall excellent condition and there is only very small evidence of handling running through the sides of the drawing. This condition is quite normal and happens to the older drawings due to the handling at the studio. The condition is only visible upon looking at the drawing very close and tilting it in the light.
The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 11" h x 6.5" w.
 (unframed).

the Evil Queen from Snow White animation Production Drawing
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Production drawing of the Evil Queen from Snow White
This phenomenal piece is from the scene when she learns that the heart she thought belonged to Snow White is actually the heart of a pig. It appears 49:09 into the film. This piece has plenty of wonderful notes that say: "I have shifted nose slightly & lowered eyelids and brows." It is said that the animators spent a lot of time trying to get her eyebrows, eyes, and mouth just right to represent a certain aristocratic beauty while also portraying her pure wickedness. This piece is an exquisite example of both capturing these qualities and very closely resembles the Queen as she appeared in this scene in the film. The piece exhibits slightly more than normal handling.
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the character size is 8.75" h x 5" w.
 (framed).

the Evil Queen animation Production Drawing
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Production drawing of the Evil Queen
After realizing the that Snow White still lives, the Evil Queen throws her cloak aside in a wild fury and storms to her dungeon to concoct a plan to rid the world of the princess once and for all.
The Queen holding the heartbox is one of the most sought after images in animation art collecting. The frame measures 17" x 19" while the aperture measures 9.75" x 11.75".
The piece shows evidence of handling and there are some pencil markings around the image, this is all fairly common for this type of work. The color in digital image is harsher and darker compared to how the piece appears in real life. There is evidence of a small piece of clear tape in the upper center along the extreme edge.
The character size is 9.5" h x 6.5" w.
 (framed).

WDDCS270
the Wicked Witch animation Production Drawing
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Production drawing of the Wicked Witch
This is a magnificent drawing of one of the wickedest characters ever to grace the Disney screen. Her eyes are frightening, and her bony, spider like hands embody pure evil, especially with the thorn-like nails. This drawing is shown at an excellent price-point and is a must-have for any serious collector.
There is a slight vertical fold in the extreme lower right edge, which measures 5". The paper has had a tinge of color change around the outer edges only which can be easily matted out.
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the character size is 5.5" h x 6.5" w.
 (unframed).
