Vintage Disney Shorts
Original Animation Production Cels from 1950s-1960s

The Disney studio actively produced short cartoons on a regular basis until about 1956 when the frequency of these animated shorts dwindled. Donald and Goofy were the biggest stars. Important newcomers in this era were Chip & Dale, a pair of rascally chipmunks often pitted against Donald Duck in all sorts of adventures. During this time period, the classic Silly Symphony series was replaced by one-shot cartoons such as Lambert the Sheepish Lion.

Below you will find a classic selection of animation cels from this period of Disney animated shorts. Please be our guest and browse through our Disney animation art.

A fabulously uplifting piece of these two little scamps ready for adventure. Each character is full figured with wide, bright eyes and extremely happy, open mouths.
Matting was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the matte pictured. There is no change in price due to the matte--it can be de-matted upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. Cel has become slightly wavy which is not uncommon for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece.
