This unique cel shows the Prince with a large portion of another cel painted with the purple curtain--an excellent find!
The painted surface measures 10" x 12" while the character of Prince John measures 6.5" x 5".
Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece.

All four of these characters are shown here in glorious full-figure, each with magnificently joyous expressions on their faces.
The cel was laminated by the studio which was a fairly common practice for cels from this film and time period. The cels show slight signs of cloudiness, predominantly the cel of Friar Tuck.
There are small staple holes in the extreme upper left corner, which can easily be matted out.

The prince is shown here in a very humorous pose, with hand out and his jaw and eyes clamped tight in a moment of surprise.
This piece shows evidence of slight line wear. Very slight paint separation with no lifting, most notably in the area of the top of his crown and a small area in his pointer finger, which are only visible upon close inspection. This piece is in excellent condition for a cel of its age.

This is an outstanding 2 cel set-up of this character, fantastically sized, sucking his jeweled thumb and holding his ear between his thumb and finger.
There is slight evidence of paint bleeding along the outer edge of the red of his coat.
