The Rescuers
(1977)
Key master set-up of Medusa and Ellie Mae Madame Medusa squints down the barrel of her shotgun and takes aim at poor Penny. This amazing four cel key master set-up has incredible detail. From the cracked windows to the moss covered ropes you can see that the animators wanted you to know that the swamps were a dark and dastardly place to be. This appears at 1:11:52 in the film. The cels are affixed to the background along the extreme lower edge with two staples. The lower corner of the background, just left of the peg holes, has been trimmed away which measures .75" x 2.25" and can easily be matted out. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 9" h x 6" w. US$ 2350 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$470 a month.
