One of the most charming Courvoisiers we've seen depicting Pinocchio facing his conscience, Jiminy Cricket, as they turn toward each other with mirrored expression. This is a moment in the scene where Pinocchio leans over to listen to Jiminy's advice. Courvoisier background has beautiful tones airbrushed in hues of pink and green. This piece is definitely among the gallery owner's favorites.

The entire framed piece measures 17.5" by 19".
The white spots in the images are the result of the scanning process.
There is some paint separation in the yellow of Jiminy's hat and in his tie, suit and arm. You have to look really, really closely to notice it. Some glue residue from the cels is slightly noticeable on the left of the flower, and in some areas of the edges of the characters. Pinocchio's feather has split and is attached to the background by Courvoisier.
Overall, this piece is in very good condition for its age and the imperfections are not too noticeable- we just want to be very thorough in our descriptions.

Cutest Jiminy cel we have seen in awhile, complete with bubble effects painted on the cel and the little fish tailing behind as he drudges his way underwater. A complete visual masterpiece straight from the heart of Disney.
Cel is not in its original Courvoisier frame but has been re-framed beautifully with wrapped linen mattes and a large bronze colored museum quality molding.

An adorable full-figured character with a sweet and inquisitive expression on his face.

Cel has become slightly wavy which is not uncommon for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece.
There is some glue residue from the cel which can be seen as the cel has separated slightly from the background. Some slight paint separation and discolouration is visible in the hand and sleeve area. Still in great condition for a vintage cel and we do not recommend restoration unless to move the cel back into position.

Courvoisier cel of Figaro and Cleo the goldfish
This piece is incredibly adorable, from his tiny little claws in each paw, the way he is up on his hind legs, his open eyes and slightly open mouth to Cleo who is blowing him a kiss. The colors in each full figured character are extraordinarily beautiful, while each character is very nicely sized as well. This piece is truly a magnificent joy to behold.

Production cel of Jiminy Cricket
This cel is from a pivotal point in the film when Jiminy and Pinocchio return from Pleasure Island to find a note left behind by Geppetto. Jiminy has to wear his spectacles in order to read the note and is pointing out the words in the letter as he goes with his trademark umbrella. Jiminy has been trimmed and applied to a new cel. There is also a blank cel on top to protect him. Jiminy has light scuffing down the front of the cel which is virtually impossible to see unless under very close examination. The top blank cel has a little scuffing as well and we recommend replacing it.

The artwork measures 9" x 9.5". This is a remarkable piece of Pinocchio on his underwater adventure. With his clothes noticeably filling up with water, he struggles to explore on the ocean’s floor. The artwork is in beautiful condition, with a delicate effects layer of tiny air bubbles floating on top.

The artwork measures 7.25" x 8". In a locked stare with his feline companion, notice Pinocchio’s curiously turned in left foot, the eagerness in his stance, and the excitement in his eyes. The hands of Geppetto cautiously hold him back in this adorable encounter with Figaro. Just like a real boy, he has no fear!
The characters in this cel were laminated by the studio which was a fairly common practice for cels from this film.
