The cel has been trimmed of its peg holes to measure 9.45" x 7.5".
The cel is taped to a hand painted background at the upper and lower left corners. Cel is slightly wavy which is fairly common for animation cels of this age. There is evidence of adhesive residue of 1.0" long halfway across the upper edge and along the lower edge which can be easily matted out. There is evidence of line wear throughout and in the character in the hands, feet and clothing.
The character size is 7.25" h x 3.25" w.

The cel has been trimmed of its peg holes to measure 7.9" x 8.75".
The cel is affixed to the printed background by adhesive along the upper edge near the upper corners and there is some minor adhesive residue which can be easily matted out. There are some miniscule specks of line wear in the character’s hands, pinky finger, sleeve and hat.
The character size is 6.5" h x 6.5" w.

There is evidence of some paint separation with no paint loss on Peter Pan’s torso and the top of Wendy’s hair and as visible in the image, there is some paint loss on Wendy’s hand and a speck on Peter Pan’s torso. There is very slight lifting throughout.

The cel has been trimmed to character and applied to a new cel. There is a slight amount of paint loss along the tip of the wing.

This cel was edited from the final film and reversed, as we believe it to be from the scene where she is showing Hook where the hideout is. The lantern is on a separate cel and is from the film as well.
The cel is trimmed and measures 4.75" x 5.75".
The trimmed cel is stapled to a backing board, one staple in each corner, which is easily matted out.
The character size is 1.5" h x 0.75" w.

With his long sword drawn Hook is prepared for his for his climactic fight with Peter Pan, but he is not prepared to be goosed by sneak attack from Peter’s dagger. This cel is a testament to the comic genius of the Disney animators. Even in the films ultimate fight scene Disney finds a moment for a cathartic break, and Captain Hook is the butt of the joke. The scene take place at 1:08:08 in the film.
The size of the artwork measures 9.5" x 8" while the frame measures 19" x 17.5".
Price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase, but it will not change the price of the piece.
There is evidence of miniscule paint loss in the area of his shoes, which is visible only upon close examination.
