The Jungle Book
(1967)
Disneyland cel set-up of Mowgli and a monkey From the "I Wan'na Be Like You" musical number comes this fantastic scene of these two dancing and captured here in comical near-mirroring of each other, save for the tail, of course. There are four staples on the extreme left corner, which is typical for this type of cel set-up. The majority of the paint in the monkey has adhered to the background, but no paint is missing. The character size is 3" h x 6" w. US$ 595 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$119 a month.

The Jungle Book
(1967)
Disneyland cel set-up of Mowgli and Baloo This piece is a heartwarming depiction of these two friends. Both are nicely full figured and the drama of the scene is excellently preserved here in their facial expressions and the way each holds themselves with their feet and hands. This piece measures 10" x 12". There are two small staples along the center top edge of the piece, .25" from the edge and slight tearing has occurred in the top cel of Mowgli extending from each staple, all of which can easily be matted out. There is a tear of 1.5" which extends from the right staple toward the left. As seen in the image, some paint separation has occurred but in small remote areas of the cel only and we do not recommend restoration. A small amount of paint from the cel has adhered to the background. The cel has been trimmed of its peg holes along the bottom edge. The character size is 6.5" h x 9.75" w. US$ 980 (unframed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$196 a month.

The Jungle Book
(1967)
Key master set-up of Kaa This magnificent scene appears at 11:52 in the movie. Just as Kaa has Bagheera hypnotized, Mowgli escapes from the coil and succeeds in throwing the bulk of it off of the lower limb, and the rest of him abruptly follows. This is a beautiful production background and a very nicely sized character to match. Cel is slightly wavy which is not uncommon for animation cels of this age and also shows very slight line wear. The cel has been taped to the background and has a tear along the extreme upper edge, which measures 1.5" and corresponds with the piece of tape, which can easily be matted out. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 5.75" h x 10" w. US$ 4900 (unframed).

The Jungle Book
(1967)
Disneyland cel set-up of Mowgli and Kaa The hypnotism begins as Kaa works his magic on the innocent boy. Notice his eyes are in the early stages of being glossed over in this fabulous artwork. There are two small staples along the upper extreme edge of the cels and the backing board, which can easily be matted out. As visible in the image, some paint separation has occurred and we do not recommend restoration. The paint in sections of his arms, his left hand the lower end of Kaa as well as Mowgli's legs show signs of adhering to the background. There is a small indentation just to the left Mowgli's head. The character size is 8.25" h x 6" w. US$ 1200 (unframed).
