Cel is slightly wavy which is not uncommon for animation cels of this age. There is quite a bit of paint cracking and lifting in the Matriarch throughout the character and Dumbo has paint separation as well, but it is much less visible. The piece appears to be in its original frame, but there are some discolouration specks in the matting as can be seen in the image

This piece measures 7" x 8" while the frame measures 15" x 16".

Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece.
There is some glue residue from the cel which can be seen as the cel has separated slightly from the background. Still in great condition for a vintage cel and we do not recommend restoration unless to move the cel back into position.

Courvoisier cel of a bear family and a circus crewmember
The circus gets prepped to move out; the bear family gets safely tucked in for the trip on Casey Jr.!
The size of the piece is 8.5"H by 11"W.
There is some minor paint separation in the upper left window curtain, on the belly of the mother bear, and on the back of the crewmember which can be remedied with professional restoration if desired. The curtain also does have some spots of discolouration as can be seen in the photo. There is also some minor cel rippling due to its age, causing the white banding/glare on some parts of the cel when it was scanned for this website.

Courvoisier cel of some elephants The cel shows evidence of lamination as did happen on occasion by the Courvoisier Galleries when they were creating the set-ups. The paint is original, but does exhibit a fair amount of paint separation throughout.

Dumbo prepares to make a soft landing on Mrs. Jumbo near the film's end (about 1 hour, 3 minutes, and 11 seconds) after the world discovers and celebrates his amazing ability to fly!
Since the original Courvoisier background became faded over time (you can see the image of it above), we placed Dumbo with a more colorful high quality print background. The original Courvoisier background will still accompany the cel and you can choose to display it either way.

The viewing aperture measures approximately 5.5"H by 6.5"W, and the overall piece measures about 10.5"H by 14"W matted and framed. This piece comes with the Courvoisier Gallery label attached to the paper backing of the frame.
The paint has been professionally restored. There is some slight waviness of the cel, which is characteristic of classic vintage cels such as this.

There is some evidence of glue residue on the extreme edge of the cel, which would be easily matted out.

Little Timothy is perched on top of Dumbo's trunk. Easily one of the cutest and largest Dumbos we have ever had!

This piece measures 16"H x 17.5"W framed. There is minor rippling of the cel due to age (this causes the white glare spots on the scans; there is no discoloration of the cels). There is some glue residue along the edges of Dumbo.
