This piece measures 7" x 8" while the frame measures 15" x 16".
Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece.
Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece.
There is some glue residue from the cel which can be seen as the cel has separated slightly from the background. Still in great condition for a vintage cel and we do not recommend restoration unless to move the cel back into position.
The character size is 4" h x 5.5" w.

Cel is slightly wavy which is not uncommon for animation cels of this age. There is quite a bit of paint cracking and lifting in the Matriarch throughout the character and Dumbo has paint separation as well, but it is much less visible. The piece appears to be in its original frame, but there are some discoloration specks in the matting as can be seen in the image

In this lovely Courvoisier cel, Timothy Mouse leads Dumbo back to the circus grounds after their run in with the crows. Both character's heads are hung low because they fear there is no way to make an elephant fly. Even Dumbo's ears drag forlornly on the ground. Little do they know that the pitiful pachyderm is about to be presented with a "magic feather" that will solve all of their problems!
This is a beautiful profile of Dumbo and Timothy, and a lovely example of the airbrushed backgrounds of the Courvoisier gallery.
The cel measures 7.5" x 8.5" while the matte measures 14" x 17".
Although the web image appears like the cel is wavy, it is actually how the paint separation is photographing. As visible in the image, there is a fair amount of paint separation in Dumbo body and a slight amount of cracking in his hat.

Courvoisier cel of some crows
Glasses Crow, Dandy Crow and Straw Hat Crow perch on a tree branch and conspire to rouse the sleeping elephant they've found nestled high off the ground. The murder of crows from Dumbo are some of Disney animations most controversial characters. The negative connotation associated with the crows is a shame because these five misfits ultimately give Dumbo the magic feather that allows him to fly in addition to being some of the few comic and light-hearted characters in the entire film..
The cel measures 8.25" x 11.5" while the matte measures 14" x 21".
Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece.
As visible in the image, the cel has slipped a little, exposing a strip of clear tape along the peg holes and slight evidence of adhesive along the extreme left side.
As seen in the image, some paint separation has occurred throughout the crows but there is very little evidence of paint loss.

There are 11 clowns shown here in this scene, part of Dumbo's act when he is forced to leap from the burning building in the Big Top. This is a wonderful, colorful cel filled with funny clown faces, mouths, and expressions.
The image measures 7.5" x 10.25" while the matte measures 13" x 15".
