Cinderella
(1950)
Production cel of Cinderella Just as Cinderella had to wait for her Prince Charming the world had to wait for another Disney animated feature. After Bambi’s release in 1942, Disney did not produce another feature film until Cinderella eight years later, and therefore a great deal of weight was put upon the film’s reception. Cinderella did not fall short however and quickly became a fan favorite. This original production cel comes from the end of the marriage ceremony when Prince Charming and Cinderella are descending the stairs, heading towards their carriage. Again Cindy manages to loose her slipper, but this time she is sure to retrieve it. In just a moment the King, with a charm of his own, will swoop in and offer to place the slipper back upon Cindy’s foot. Then Cinderella will finally get to ride off into her well deserved happy ending. This cel is overlaid onto a hand-painted, non-production background. The aperture measures 12" x 15" while the frame measures 27" x 29.5". Price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase, but it will not change the price of the piece. This cel appears at 1:13:23 in the film. The cel has been trimmed to character and applied to a new cel.
We believe this piece has been at least partially restored in the bodice area of the wedding dress. The paint color used appears to be a shade darker than as appears in the film. If you would like, our restoration artist can restore this to its original color for an additional $100. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 8" h x 4" w. US$ 8000 (framed). Add this piece to your collection for only US$1600 a month.

Cinderella
(1950)
Production cel of Cinderella and Bruno The glamour lingers for just a moment before disappearing all together as Cinderella and Bruno find themselves magically transformed back into their ordinary shapes. Didn’t they remember that the Fairy Godmother’s magic ran out at midnight? This beautiful five cel set up featuring Cinderella and her loyal animal friends is a very rare find. The cel appears at 55:54 in the film. There is evidence of staple or pin holes along the upper extreme edge, predominantly in the corners, which can easily be matted out. The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the character size is 6" h x 11.25" w. US$ 4500 (unframed).
