David Flores is well known within the urban arts community for his self-proclaimed “stained glass” style. A prominent figure in the skateboarding world, David has been involved with and shaped the image of so many brands it can be hard to keep track. Find a group of skateboarders anywhere in the world, chances are that at least one of them is skating on a deck designed by David or standing in a pair of shoes inspired by his art.

In 2007 he spent time working with BLOC28, Stussy, Kid Robot, XLarge, Plan B , Oakley and DC Shoes as well as other principal names in the urban realm. Most recently he teamed up with Medicom and Disney to create a Limited Mickey Mouse vinyl toy with his unique style. His distinct taste has been applied to nearly all of the top urban vinyl toy characters from Japan to the United States. His Dunny figure was also recently inducted into the MoMA permanent collection.
