Buzz Parker, head illustrator for Emily the Strange, has spent the past decade developing and promoting the Emily the Strange Brand with shirts, stickers, comic books and original artwork which can be seen Here. Buzz has recently produced this fresh body of work based on Bigleaf, who gently stalks neighborhoods, forests, and cities complete with puns in the titles and a sense of ambiguity that wavers between protection and danger. The paintings are colorful, playful, and exhibit the DIY spirit of ingenuity that Buzz grew up with in the 80's punk and skateboard scene. Enjoy!
