Sleeping Beauty (1959) Master set-up of Maleficent. We believe the background appears at 1:04:34 and we believe it to have an effects overlay cel over it, as was common in these scenes. The background has a number of production notes on the bottom including 2082 - seq.18 sc 80 & 77 The cel of Maleficent appears earlier at 16:08 in the film. The image area of the artwork measures 11.25" x 31.5. The character is trimmed and applied to a pan cel. There is evidence of folding in the background toward the left -hand side. There is evidence of tape residue in the upper right corner, as well as the upper left corner The size of this piece is Pan WDMCS40
