Pinocchio (1940)
Production drawing of The Blue Fairy.

One of the most elegantly crafted characters in Disney history, The Blue Fairy has all the grace of a queen. This original production drawing gives a full body image of the fairy that turned Pinocchio into a real boy. Her slender arms and beautiful face are reminiscent of the live movie starlets of her day.
Evidence of slightly more than normal handling in the upper left hand portion of the drawing and along the extreme upper edge there are tiny slivers of tape which can be easily matted out. There is a vertical fold of 1.25" where this portion of the paper has been folded over.
