Fantasia (1940) Storyboard of Baby Pegasus. An absolutely wonderful storyboard from the Pastoral Symphony section of Fantasia! This first movement opens with Sunrise on Mount Olympus--fauns and unicorns play happily amongst the lush countryside then the Pegasus family emerges. This particular piece depicts the moments during the scene where the baby Pegasus takes to flight. After several false starts he spins and twirls through the air with ease, and then they all fly through the clouds to the outer edges of the sky.
