Ben and Me (1953) Storyboard of Ben From Ben And Me and Amos Mouse. This storyboard comes from the 1953 Disney featurette, "Ben and Me," and depicts a scene in which Ben Franklin is assisted in his printing shop by a precocious little church mouse named Amos. Through several comical scenes, the film suggests that many of the inventions and feats attributed to Franklin were actually the work this ingenious mouse. Amos is even given credit for the opening lines of the Declaration of Independence. These are all trimmed as can be seen in the image and attached to a backing paper with tape on the top and bottom. There are pinholes in all 4 corners and the lower right-hand corner is slightly folded over and there is a tiny nick at the upper right-hand top of the paper-- both easily matted out..
