Ben and Me (1953) Storyboard of Ben From Ben And Me. Before inventing bifocals, Ben Franklin was quite the klutz, at least that is what is suggested in this storyboard from the 1953 featurette, "Ben and Me." Here Ben fears that he may have stepped on his good friend Amos the church mouse. This would prompt Ben and Amos to work together to invent bifocals, and as it turns out Amos was involved in many of Franklin's greatest feats. These are all trimmed as can be seen in the image and attached to a backing paper with tape on the top and bottom. There are pinholes in all 4 corners..
