Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Production drawing of The Wicked Witch. The Wicked Witch and her poison apple are an iconic image from the world’s first animated feature film. This production drawing shows the witch holding her evil trap in one hand while reaching out with her other. There is a great deal of detail is her wretched face, as well as in the folds of her loosely fitting robe, and one can understand from this drawing why many feared that the Wicked Witch might be too scary for the young children that would view “Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.”
