Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Production drawing of The Wicked Witch. Everyone wanted to warn Snow White not to take the apple from The Wicked Witch when they first saw “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,” which is a part of the magic of how the film drew the viewer in. This production drawing shows the witch producing her evil trap from her basket. The Witch is as ugly inside as she is out, and the wretchedness of her appearance is drawn here in great detail. This drawing would make a great companion to its counter part WDDPP525.
Piece exhibits slightly more than normal handling and there is a 4" 'crinkle' in the left hand area, which is visible only upon close inspection and can easily be matted out. The paper has slightly curved on the extreme right corner, which has caused a slight shadow. This is only on the scanned image and not on the piece itself..
The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 6" h x 5" w. US$ 1600 (unframed) WDDPP527
