This gorgeous trio is set against an awesome color reference drawing of the Giant's massive mouth, marked for various highlights and shadows. His afternoon snack is similarly marked for highlight effects. Mickey, struggling to stay afoot, is shown in extreme action as he narrowly escapes being swallowed. This set-up appears as the Giant takes his second swallow in the scene.
