Peter Pan (1953) Production drawing of Captain Hook. This drawing is of the villainous Captain Hook, the scourge of Neverland, and the arch-nemesis of Peter pan. Here he is seen with a befuddled look upon his face, holding a leaking water bottle to his head, not so wisely, with his hook. This comes after again being thwarted by Peter Pan when attempting to drown Tiger Lily at Skull Rock. Hook is a disheveled mess, and lacks any of the nobility he believes to be a part of his character. The drawing has a great deal of green coloring, denoting shadows, and highlights of red running throughout that were used as animator’s notes.
