Pinocchio (1940)
Production drawing of Gideon.

This production drawing is of Gideon, the only truly comic character in Pinocchio, and sidekick to the unscrupulous J. Worthington Foulfellow. Here Gideon is seen in position to dunk a smoke ring from his cigar into his beer. The drawing has a great deal of green color throughout, to denote shadows, and has accents of red to highlight features to the animators.
Piece exhibits slightly more than normal handling..
