9 of the drawings in the set are color reference drawings. The drawings are of popular nursery rhyme characters such as Old King Cole and Little Bo Peep.

All 13 drawings have slightly more than normal handling evidenced by wrinkling of the paper and some discoloration. There also appears to be fold line through the center of each one. On one of the drawings the peg holes had been trimmed off and then refastened with tape..
