Fantasia (1940) Layout drawing of Ben Ali Gator and Hyacinth Hippo. A beautiful set of two drawings from this fantastic scene. The gator is exquisitely rendered, his jaws nearly smacking with pure excitement. As seen in the image, there is evidence of discoloration and slight waviness in the paper, although the light is not as harsh as it appears. The drawing of the hippo has a tear down the middle that measures about 4". The drawing of Ali Gator also has a tear on the right side but removed from the central figure, easily matted out, and measuring 1.5". The condition of the artwork was considered when pricing..
