Fantasia (1940) Production drawing of Pterodactyls. This drawing is most likely from the wide shot (around 54 minutes and 30 seconds into the film) when these flying saurians are hovering above the lake in search of prey from the "Rite of Spring" section of the film. This piece has production notes on the lower left hand corner of the paper (which looks like tallies and tick marks with numbers that look very cryptic to the casual viewer but most likely made much more sense to the animators of Fantasia at the time!) There is a diagonal fold in the lower left- hand corner and the upper right-hand corner. These can be matted out for display if desired.
The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the size of the image is 2.5" h x 13" w.
