Donald's Penguin (1939) Production drawing of Tootsie. This pencil rough piece depicts Donald Duck's adorable penguin antagonist attempting a running jump on the windowsill to reach Donald's prized pet fish! This can be seen roughly 3 minutes and 22 seconds into the short (after the first time Tootsie sees Donald's three fish). Note that in this rough, the details of the short feathers on the top of its head have not been fleshed out yet! The number "29" can be seen on the lower right hand corner. There is some slight darkening of the edges due to the age of the piece; this can be matted out for display.. The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 3" h x 3" w.
