Disney Studios (c. 1930s)
Gag drawing of Mickey Mouse and Julius the Cat.

This is a gag drawing of Mickey Mouse engaged in a round of fisticuffs with his silent feline precursor Julius the Cat, who was Disney's first named character in the early 1920s when the studio was Laugh-O-Gram Studio producing the Alice Comedies series. He bears a striking resemblance to rival animator Otto Mesmer's Felix.

The paper has a tinge of color change along the extreme left edge which can be easily matted out.

The size of this piece is 12 Field (11"x13") and the size of the image is 3.5" h x 6" w.
