Sleeping Beauty (1959) Production drawing of Maleficent (as Dragon). Maleficent’s transformation into the dragon is one of the most fearsome and iconic evils of Disney animation. This fantastic pan production drawing shows the terrifying monster with its wicked jaws spread wide and its powerful wings unfurled. The artwork measures 12.5" x 30". Piece exhibits slightly more than normal handling. There is a vertical crease running through the center of the drawing. There is a small tear .75" just to the left of the middle left peg hole. There is evidence of folding along the upper left corner which measures 4.5" and a 1.5" fold on the upper right corner, only visible upon close examination..
