Out on a Limb (1950) Storyboard of Chip The Chipmunk and Dale the chipmunk. Notice the reddish action lines that have them running and turning, and then presumably stopping and freezing as if they were up to absolutely nothing but being sweet angels. This excellent storyboard measures 6" x 8.25". There is evidence of staple holes towards the extremes of each corner, which can be easily matted out. As pinning up storyboards for evaluation was often part of the creative process, this is fairly common for this type of work. As visible in the image, there is very slight paper loss toward the extreme left edge. Also, as this is a pastel drawing, there is slight evidence of smudging..
