Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Courvoisier cel of Snow White and some animals. This cel appears at 14:54 in the film. She is forced to leave her home and upon realizing that she cannot stay in the middle of the forest and meeting all of her new woodland friends, she asks them if they know where she can stay. The birds motion her through the forest and this cel is from this beautifully complex scene as she and the animals run through trees and above water reflecting them. The cel is shown here in the orange frame. In addition to all of the adorable woodland animals, the trees and leaves are painted on a celluloid as well. The cel measures 7.5" x 11" while the matte measures 13" x 16". Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece..
