Pinocchio (1940) Courvoisier cel of Pinocchio and Figaro. This scene appears in Geppetto's workshop during the song "Little Wooden Head" just after he is named Pinocchio and introduced to Figaro and Cleo. Geppetto has just said, "Say Hello to Figaro" who was at first put off by this new person in the workshop, but appears to be enjoying a good petting. This appears at 8:37 into the film and shows Figaro as a well-contented, cute kitten and Pinocchio as a happy, wooden marionette, with a wonderful smile and bright, shining blue eyes. The artwork measures 6.25" x 7.25" while the matte measures 13" x 13".
Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece..
