This cel is a gorgeous portrait of one of Disney’s most reviled villains. Maleficent’s perfectly penciled eyebrows are arched and her lined lips are spread wickedly wide. In pieces like this one it is easy to tell that the Disney animators took great pride in creating amazingly realistic characters.
