Bambi (1942) Courvoisier cel of Bambi and Bambi's mother. Of all the relationships created in Disney’s long history of movie making, none was as tender as that of Bambi and his mother. This Courvoisier Cel of Bambi following his mother through the dense wilderness that served as their home is beautifully composed. Beams of light can be seen cutting through the trees, seemingly putting a spotlight on the doe Bambi so admires. They are locked in each others eyes, sharing a moment that is unique to the mother/child relationship. There is a sweet sadness we all carry for Bambi’s mother and it is captured perfectly by this piece. The characters have been trimmed and laminated to a cel.. The size of the image is 2" h x 4.25" w.
