Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Courvoisier cel of Doc, Happy and Sneezy. In this cute Courvoisier cel three of the Dwarfs revisit the long forgotten tradition of washing up before dinner. Doc walks Sneezy and Happy through the process all the while being chided by an off camera Grumpy. The scene appears at 43:15 in the film. This piece measures 9.0" x 11.0". Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. There is some slight paint lifting in the hands and leg of the character Happy and a speck of minor paint separation but no paint loss in his left eyebrow. Visible only upon close examination is faint cracking in the paint of Happy’s leg. There is very minor paint lifting in the left palm of the character Doc and the right cheek of the character Sneezy. At the tip of Doc’s hat is slight mottling with very minor paint separation but no paint loss. There are some dust and white particles of residue by the lower left and lower right sides and edges.
