Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)|
Courvoisier cel of Dopey.
In the opening to the "Silly Song", Dopey breaks it down on the drums and sets the tone for the song to be filled with sight gags and clever turns of phrase.
This appears at 53:21 in the film.
This piece measures 8.0" x 8.5".
Cel has become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. As visible in the web image, paint separation has occurred with areas of paint loss on the character’s lower legs. There is a 0.25" x 0.13" area of paint separation but no paint loss on the character's right hand. There is slight lifting throughout and visible upon close examination is a faint crack in the character’s hat.
The size of the image is 3.5" h x 4" w.
