Dumbo (1941) Courvoisier cel of Dumbo. Baby Dumbo splashes and plays as his mama washes him. This happy scene sets up the loving relationship between mom and son that is the driving action for the remainder of the movie. The scene appears at 17:05 in the film. This piece measures 8.5" x 9.5". The cel has been professionally restored. The paint has been professionally restored Cel is taped to the background near each upper corner and is slightly wavy which is fairly common for animation cels of this age. The cel has been trimmed and laminated by the studio which was a fairly common practice for cels from this film. The background has evidence of pin holes; two along the right edge, two along the left edge and one along the upper edge and 3.5" to the right of the upper left corner.
