Mother Goose Goes Hollywood (1938) Courvoisier cel of Stan Laurel. A classic Hollywood character with his classic 'big chinned' comic expression. This piece is absolutely delightful! The image measures 7"x8.25" while the frame measures 15"x15.5" Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece. Cel has become slightly wavy which is not uncommon for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is only visible in the web image and is not on the actual piece. There are a few small areas of paint separation, most notably in the green area of his hat, which is only really visible upon close examination. There is some glue residue from the cel which can be seen as the cel has separated slightly from the background. Still in great condition for a vintage cel and we do not recommend restoration unless to move the cel back into position.. The size of the image is 6.25" h x 7.5" w. US$ 2400 (framed) WDCES2
