Sleeping Beauty (1959) Disneyland cel set-up of Merryweather. We've all been waiting for a Merryweather like this! She is the smallest of the three fairies that were assigned to protect Briar Rose during her stay in the forest. All decked out in blue, Merryweather has a mind of her own and often rebels against Flora's decrees. If she is not the brains of the trio, she sure considers herself to be. We all love this spunky little fairy and her personality is preserved wonderfully through her pose and facial expression in this cel. What is even more wonderful about this piece is that the original fairy dust cel layer was preserved with the piece which really makes for a magical viewing experience. The piece does come in its original Disney Land Cel Set-Up matting with accompanying golden Disney seal on the back. The art opening is 10" x 8".
