The Fox and the Hound (1981)|
Production cel of Amos Slade.
The cel is laminated by the studio which was a fairly common practice for cels from this film and time period. There is adhesive and adhesive residue 0.5" thick across the upper edge; this can be easily matted out. There are areas of the lamination buckling and we believe this is causing some paint separation throughout the character and most significantly along the edge of the character's hat, back, hands, in the face and the trap. Cel is slightly wavy which is fairly common for animation cels of this age.
The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the size of the image is 8" h x 10" w.
