Robin Hood (1973)|
Production cel of Robin Hood and Little John.
The cels are stapled together at the upper left corner via one staple and there is evidence of a staple hole at the upper right corner; these can be easily matted out. There is a 0.5" x 1.0" area of cel loss to the right peg hole of the Little John cel which can be matted out. The cel was laminated by the studio which was a fairly common practice for cels from this film and time period. As slightly visible in the web image, a 1.75" x 0.5" area of minor paint separation has occurred in the stomach of Little John but no paint loss. There is very slight lifting and cracking in Robin Hood's left leg with a tiny spot of lifting in his tail.
The size of this piece is 16 Field (13"x16") and the size of the image is 6" h x 6" w.
