Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)|
Courvoisier cel of Dopey.
Dopey hurries to sweep up the precious gems that Doc deems unworthy in this fun Courvoisier set-up from the “Heigh Ho” song section of Snow White.
The framed piece measures 17.0" x 16.5" with the aperture measuring 7.25" x 7.25".
This cel appears at 22:34 minutes in the film.
The cels have become slightly wavy which is fairly common for vintage animation cels. The light reflection is visible in the web image only and is not on the actual piece. There is evidence the cels have been trimmed in the framing process as visible by the left edge which has become loose from under the mat. There are dust and white particles throughout and there is very slight line wear in white sparkles of the diamonds. Visible on close inspection is a minuscule black spec halfway across and 2.25" above the lower edge.
Framing was done prior to its arrival at WWA thus the list price is reflective of the art only--the piece comes with the frame pictured. There is no change in price due to the frame--it can be de-framed upon request at purchase but will not change the price of the piece.
The size of the image is 3.75" h x 5.75" w.
